Lesson Highlights

Go beyond forgiveness

Forgiveness can be a passive display of acceptace of wrong doing.

However, grace is revealed in action to enrich those that have done wrong towards you. Grace may yield a solution the root cause of the wrong doing.

Let Go and Let God

Failing to remove any personal guilt you may feel from disappointing yourself, and more importantly, disappointing God once you have truly repented for your actions carries a heavy weight.

Repentance offers us the opportunity to feel the blessing of God’s grace and mercy.

If God can forgive you, you’ll also need to be ok with forgiving yourself as well.

It’s A Marathon

After giving your life to Christ no one becomes a spiritual perfectionist. That is why God’s grace is so amazing. It continues to cover us through our entire journey.

God Aims to Reconcile Not Condemn

1 Corinthians 10:13

13 No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.
