Don’t Get It Twisted

Addressing Misconceptions: The pastor explains that when people face hardships (their "dilemma"), they often mistakenly feel that God has forgotten them or is indifferent to their suffering.
The Nature of God: God is everlasting, omnipresent, and all-wise; crucially, God "does not grow weary," meaning He never gets tired of His people.
The Source of Strength: God gives power to the weak. Just as a phone must be plugged into a power source, believers must "plug in" through prayer and scripture to have their strength renewed.
Redefining "Waiting": The pastor provides a deeper look at the Hebrew word quava (translated as "wait"), explaining that it carries the meaning of being twisted, tied, or woven together—like a rope. This implies that waiting on the Lord is an active process of binding oneself to Him to become stronger.

27 Why do you say, O Jacob, And speak, O Israel: “My way is hidden from the Lord, And my just claim is passed over by my God”?
28 Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the Lord, The Creator of the ends of the earth, Neither faints nor is weary. His understanding is unsearchable.
29 He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength.
30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall,
31 But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.
