Trustee Bryan K. Whitehead was born November 17, 1957. He graduated from George Washington Carver High School in June of 1977. He worked at the McCormick Spice Company for one year. Bryan has been employed at W.R. Grace & Company for forty-three years.
Bryan was a member of the Perkins Square Baptist Church and served as Assistant Cubmaster and
Scoutmaster for Pack and Troop #282 for several years. Bryan has been a member of Leadenhall Baptist Church for thirty-six years. He was instrumental in helping form a Cub Scout and Boy Scout Troop here at Leadenhall. He severed as Scoutmaster here for three years. In 1998, he was installed as a Trustee. He served as the Co-Chairperson of the Trustee Ministry for ten years.
Bryan has been the president of the Male Chorus for more than twenty years. He is a member of the Voices of Leadenhall, the Brotherhood and a past member of the Dr. Eddie R. Wilson, Jr. Scholarship Ministry. He has served as Chairperson of Men and Women’s Day Committee. Bryan loves the Lord and he loves serving at Leadenhall. He can often be found during the week here at Leadenhall working behind the scenes. Paulette often jokes that she is his second wife and Leadenhall is his first.
His favorite scripture is Psalm 27:14
Bryan has been married to Sister Paulette Whitehead for thirst-four years. He is a father of three sons, Antione Whitehead, Christopher Whitehead, and Tavian Francois. He has five grandchildren. He is the son of Rachell Futtrell and has three living sisters. One sister and brother preceded him in death. He is a Godfather to three Goddaughters.
